IMS Username- IMS0000926245 In August 2022, I decided to join the IMS VVN Anand branch for GRE coaching with high hopes. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be incredibly disappointing. I met AKASH YADAV, who assured me that the course would be finished in time for my December exam. I paid 30k in fees, but there were no trial classes to give me an idea of what to expect. When the classes finally started, I was shocked to find that Akash Yadav, who had no teaching experience, was teaching the quant classes. He was actually a former CAT student at IMS, but now he was trying to teach without any GRE exam knowledge or training surprisingly he couldn’t get the desired results by studying from IMS himself. The verbal classes were taught by PREETI OJHA, who also had no experience teaching GRE either and had recently joined. PREETI often gave incorrect answers, but she quickly changed the slides to hide her mistakes assuming that students won’t notice The classes were supposed to start at 7 am, but the center didn't even open until 7:15. This happened multiple times, causing a lot of frustration. When we asked to change the timing, they prioritized CAT students and made excuses. After joining I was shocked to learn that classes only took place three times a week, which would have been important information for me to decide whether or not to join. As I believe that consistent studies are important for better results. They didn't provide study material until I paid the full fee of 30k. I think they charge too much considering the teachers lack expertise and experience. It seems like IMS is more focused on selling franchises than providing quality education. I wasted my money and couldn't complete the course on time because of their limited schedule. The tests were taken using Google Forms, not on the computers they showed us you have to take test using you mobile and after that the tests results are not discussed properly and they move on to next chapter to complete the test . It was all a scam because they don’t have the experienced teachers and to hide that they don’t provide demo classes and charge more money than any other coaching classes I strongly recommend attending trial classes and talking to previous students before joining any coaching classes to avoid this kind of situation. My biggest regret. If you ever encounter these to people Akash Yadav and PREETI OJHA then please don’t join, and even after reading this someone thinks to join IMS VVN then congratulations you got plenty of time and money.
